Sekiro Shadows Die Twice Rot

No. Dragon Rot simply prevents NPCs infected from moving on with their quests. There's a rather unproblematic way to cure it, it cures all afflicted NPCs at the same time, and y'all tin do it around eighteen times per run, and so don't worry also much near it.

Try to heal NPCs afterwards y'all beat a boss or peculiarly difficult section, or whenever you want to check on an NPCs questline and they happen to be sick.

Talk to Emma and follow her instructions. She'll allow you know when she has a style to cure information technology and explicate to yous how to do information technology. To make her quest move forward subsequently giving her anything only rest.

... if you died in that game a lot, it would actually make the game harder?

Kind of, in an indirect way. Accumulating Dragonrot reduces the chances of Unseen Aid, which, if triggered when dying, eliminates the sen and feel point penalisation. If we don't accept enough sen to buy sugars etc., and/or nosotros practise not have enough experience/skill points to upgrade skills, so the game might be harder.

The sen and experience indicate penalties tin exist mitigated somewhat past buying Money Purses and grinding till the next skill point level is hit.

Besides how do I dodge charging spear attacks? I'one thousand in this memory thing correct now and there's this enemy called a Shinobi Hunter, and he has a spear and I've tried over and over to bound just as he is nigh to stab me with it(I call back I have the spear counter ability.) just he always gets me...when are you suppose to time information technology correctly to jump off the spear and do a counter attack?

Utilize Mikiri Counter against spear thrusts. Tap L forward, hit the dodge button ('B'). Hanbei the Undying at the Dilapidated Temple has grooming for this.

Deflecting works, every bit should dodging to the side. Jumping up will get you hitting. Jumping up is for sweeping attacks.

But a heads up about thrust attacks that give you the danger symbol, y'all tin can actually still deflect those without the Mikiri but information technology destroys your posture and does less posture damage to the enemy
