Sophia: Ahhhh I finally got my 2d dagger from a vendor, wheeee! However i'k not liking at all where it went - having to kill 8 sentinels? I managed 2 or 3... and then my shield is downwards and it'south the end (of my traveler, that is). Getting indoors resets the counter and I just tin't run/hide long enough for the shield to come upward again. I'thousand really thinking of skipping this i - I merely don't like the mission. Is in that location whatever other way to cease off that weapons specialist quest?

A method I institute for this :
Have your Starship nearby. Run effectually on pes and take out the floaty sentinels, and the armoured diverseness, and the dog types, then run effectually in the same vicinity until the big guy shows upward. And so bound in your starship, have off merely be sure non to wing away besides far - If the search clock resets yous have gone too far - Take out the big guy with your starship weapons simply by keeping looping around and rapidly targeting the armoured pieces and finally the caput. Then fly but a trivial bit away and the Sentinels clock count downwardly searching for y'all should kick in, start circling the area so that you do not leave the area and the search clock counts downwardly to nada.
If you have taken out one round of all sentinel types, and so run down the search clock to nix, the sentinels will problems out, land and go talk to the armorer :)

Tips :

While running effectually on pes, strafe. With keyboard and mouse employ A and D to keep changing management running sideways, and keeping the target in sights with the mouse. They are not equally adept getting a dewdrop on yous strafing as you are shooting them running round in circles .. If you use a controller y'all will need to learn how to strafe and target simultaneously with whatever button / stick combination yous need to do that.

Getting in the ship to accept out the large guy is not necessary, you tin kill them by strafing, anticipating that horrible besprinkle set on they have and using jumps to escape it. The thing is if you lot are in your ship when the large guy goes down, the side by side round of sentinels cant detect you lot so easy up in the air, so the inaugural searching starts and you flying around in circles keeps them from finding you.

Dont wing besides loftier though, otherwise Sentinel Starships and Freighters bring together the boxing. Just loftier enough to go on from hitting the basis or getting besides close to the ground sentinels again, and shut enough so that the timer keeps counting down.

Oh and having max adjacent upgrades for shields / lifesupport / multi-tool upgrades etc helps greatly too :)

You tin have your one buildable upgrade for anything which you learn from a blueprint, plus 3 next S Class upgrades, plus iii adjacent upgrades in the Tech slots aswell. And then Jetpack + Blueprint Neural Stimullator + three times adjacent Southward Form upgrades to Jetpack in the Main inventory, plus Blueprint Rocket boots + 3 times next Due south Class upgrades to the Jetpack in the tech slots = Max upgrades to the Jetpack. Sometimes you only go 1 Design upgrade similar for shields, u.s. information technology with 3 S class adjacents in the main inventory and and then 3 additional SClass in the tech slots - Of course expanding all inventory slots to their max needs to be done offset to allow for so many upgrades to everything y'all need, thats why the armorer ask if yous are ready :)

Latest Across update at present allows us to movement everything around in inventories, including the bones stuff similar Jetpack, so you tin can reach maximum upgrade adjacency bonuses for everything.

I yet have a few things to get (pulse bulldoze on my starship for example could do with 3 South Class upgrades in its Tech slots), and there are some adjacency differences in Beyond that the link I gave in a higher place does not encompass, but here's my setup then far since I started a new game with Beyond (No cheats, no save game editor, no mods) :

Artemis done, now following the Atlas Path, most base building quests done with a few to-exercise like Exxocrafts, working towards an S Class Freighter (Currently accept an A Course) and so to build that upward.

Edit : Oh and something else which is new to Beyond - Hyperdrive upgrades - It used to exist that if you had the Indium drive installed on your starship, y'all did non need Cadmium and Emeril drives, because Indium allowed you to get to all colour systems. New to Beyond though is if y'all have all 3 installed, y'all get amend adjacency bonus for maximum Hyperdrive Distance. Play around with placing them adjacent and yous will find one configuration makes yous become further than whatsoever other configuration.
